Very beautiful sights and sounds. nicole kiesha2025-06-13Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Loved everything about it this place. It's not a very big location in terms of space but the accommodation was comfortable even though it's a tent. The location is beautiful. The view you wake up to is glorious. It's very peaceful at night with nothing but the sound of the wild. Late nights in the gazebo around the fireplace, resting in the hammock were just right. The Hospitality at the place was really good too. A full kitchen to your disposal if you love to cook for yourself and the staff were kind and always ready to help. The lavatories and bathrooms were fair for the locations. Hot water & electricity was available. Joyce Atuhura2025-06-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I loved the view of the place and the service offered by the place. The tents are so comfortable, for they accommodate three people, and strong for heavy rains. For one that wants to have self service, everything is there in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend thosmplace to anyone that's looking to have an adventure at a low cost. I personally appreciate the host for incorporating clean bathrooms that have hot water. From the comfortable spacious tents to the clean shared bathrooms with warm running water (the warm water was a delight) to the well equipped kitchen, this stay was awesome and peaceful. The best part was the view that you just can't get enough of, and the staff that were so helpful. The staff went over and above to help us and make our stay comfortable and memorable. Oh did I forget the fire place, and the hammocks!!!! Twin lakes Eco Lodge and campsite was such a delight and the getaway that my friends and I needed. Thanks Twin lakes. Asante sana. Alex Bankunda2025-06-08Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The tents are very clean and wide enough. They offer all size of mattress depending on how many people occupy a tent. The bathrooms and toilet are detached from tents but purely very clean. Bathrooms have warm water, The view is stunning on top of Twin lakes, outside the camp, you overview Queen elizabeth National Park. The camp site is located approximately 3km from the park. They offer campfire and meals are tasty should you wish to have a meal with them. Beautiful rooms are under construction should u with not to sleep in a tent. The route from tarmac is slippery during rain season 4*4 is highly recommended. Try this place you will like it. Our recent trip to Twin Lakes Eco Camp was absolutely phenomenal, largely thanks to the incredibly welcoming host, Meddy. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The culinary experience was another highlight. The kitchen staff and servers were exceptionally friendly and masterfully blended local Ugandan flavors with Western dishes. There was always something delicious for everyone, no matter their preference. The location of the camp is simply breathtaking. Perched with stunning views of the two lakes the camp is named after, it's a truly picturesque setting that offers a sense of tranquility and natural beauty. Beyond the camp itself, there's a fantastic array of activities to enjoy. We highly recommend a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, a peaceful walk around the lake, and the incredible experience of seeing chimpanzees in the wild. Don't miss out on enjoying a sundowner with a drink and spectacular views as the day ends. We also found visiting the local community to be a truly enriching experience. Twin Lakes Eco Camp offers the perfect blend of comfort, adventure, and genuine hospitality. We can't wait to return! First of all, the location and setting of this place is absolutely stunning. The campsite overlooks one of the twin lakes, Lake Mirambi. The accommodation is really very comfortable. To make it all more special, Meddy and his staff are something else. The service, the food and everything there really makes you feel at home. The food really is delicious! This is hospitality done right. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Meddy also helps organise game and boat rides if necessary. He can help with your next move. Definitely highly recommended. Thank you, Meddy and team!
